Abundant acts of generosity
Providence Cloutier, Communications Advisor, Windsor Mill
Around the Holidays, the Windsor Mill likes to help those in need through a number of activities.
As part of an event dubbed the Children’s Christmas, our employees gathered non-perishable food items for underprivileged Windsor families. Again this year, they also purchased and donated a mountain of new gifts to the Knights of Columbus, who distributed them to needy kids throughout the region.
During the employee Christmas cocktail party, over $5,625 was raised to buy food to make up baskets for Action Partage and the Knights of Columbus. Both organizations lend a helping hand to many families in the Windsor area.
Finally, on December 16, a number of managers and superintendents travelled in and around Sherbrooke to distribute “Baskets of Hope” on behalf of the Fondation Rock Guertin food bank. The group was on site, ready to help at 6:00 a.m. sharp. By the end of the day, 105 families benefited from their visits.
All of these acts of generosity remind us of the importance of taking care of our communities.Share
